What are the scarves made out of?
Our Squares are made from 100% silk. Polyester, acrylic and rayon can kiss our… just kidding! We have mad respect for modern advances in textile technology, but we use anything synthetic carefully and strategically. The baby hems on the Squares are sewn with a thread made from a poly-cotton blend, which allows us to have the strongest hem with the smallest holes in your beautiful silk so that you can worry less and enjoy more– yay technology! The silk is soft and lightweight so it feels great against your skin, and you can fold it up and twist it to wear it in any way your heart desires. The fabric only has a minimal sheen to it to give the Squares a casual, effortless, and classic look.

We don’t like a lot of fuss. It’s just not our style. We love having fun with our accessories, but we also love pieces that are effortless and easy to pair with just about anything. We keep the designs interesting, the colors clean, simple to wear, and ready to pack a huge punch with minimal effort. We are from New York after all, and have to be run-out-the-door ready with pieces that can multitask like we do from day-to-night.
How do I care for my new favorite accessory?
Your square is 100% silk and is delicate so treat it with care. Hand wash in cold water with a mild cleanser (like shampoo or hand soap) then hang dry. Washing it like this will leave it a bit wrinkled but VERY soft. You can iron it FACE DOWN to make it smooth again.
If your square says "Made in California" -DO NOT DRY CLEAN - Some cleaners use chemicals that can damage the delicate dyes in the silk
